Anyone remember this was on tonight? Me neither Although I was lucky enough to catch this on the radio while driving back from somewhere Sfk came in at No. 1 I'd like to send out a massive congratulations to the band and its supporters I don't think anyone here will argue that it's definately deserved They played 'Stunt Show', 'Monsters', 'Three Dimensions' and 'You Only Hide' and played a bit of an interview with Paul. Radiohead came it at No. 7 I think, that's the only other one I heard.

yeah .. it is good that SFK got number one (a bit of revenge against the likes of powderstinkfinger . .remember aria's anyone??)
but my gripe is that it is so predictable in terms of what gets in the top 10 albums. i knew alex lloyd and SFK would get in .. . most of them are based on reputation rather than skill .. i could name another few albums which would be worthy of a spot on richard kingsmill's list but wouldnt get in because there not popular enough bands even though the content is excellent. . i mean . .look at gorrilaz. . what the fuck is with them??. . fucking noel gallagher is right ."bloody childrens nursery fucking music". .
it was good that a lot of the JJJ staff picked out Art of Fighting .. because there a low key group which make beautiful music. . one of melbournes best kept secrets. . .and blueline medic's newbie .. well . .need i say anymore than "best debut for independant artist 2001"
well . . yeah . .i guess thats how things go i suppose. .but seriously, good work on SFK's behalf. .
