Is anyone going to BDO in 2002? I think the lineup is anything to write home about, I wouldn't mind seeing garbage though

I wanted to go to see Garbage too.... They are the only one I am truly interested in at the moment.
I have decided that I am not going to the BDO (unless the line up gets better) but hopefully catch garbage at a club show or something (assuming/hoping they do one)
Has anyone heard anymore rumours?

No I don't think it's worth it, neither was 2001 I loved '99 and 2000, great international bands Chili Peppers! Nine Inch Nails! I even used to like Korn ;D It's gone down hill IMO, maybe they can't attract decent bands because of the dollar (no offence to the garbage fans) I don't much dig the scene anymore either. It's too hot and there's too many people. Why try to cram so many bands into one day, it's just really tiring (god am I sounding old? wait till I still bitching about moshing and crowd surfing). I'd much rather see the bands I like in their own gigs, the pricks in these big festivals often pay them extra especially to not play their own gigs though. Each to their own though, I'm sure a lot of people will enjoy it.

Hmm .. im a bit undecided on this one
Ive never actually been to a BDO . . but yeah, last years was a joke. 99 and 2000 were the ones i wanted to go to.
But, i went to Offshore citytripper 2001 and absolutely loved it. Not From There were awesome. . and i mean it.
I think falls festival might be a better choice .. .
but thats my rant

Fuck Bowie. If that weirdo thinks that he's worth 7 million $ then he can stick it up his arse He's not worth it, nobody is. I don't care how many shiny jackets and glittery pants he has And why the fuck did they move offshore?? Big Day Out sucked, so why the hell did offshore decide that it would be better off being more like it. The reason it was cool was because it was at torquey. Citytripper what a joke (sorry if I'm sounding really bitching but this bowie crap has got me worked up)
