Hey everyone
Id just like to tell you all that one of the more dearly loved punk/hardcore bands from melbourne from years ago Mid Youth Crisis AKA One Inch Punch are having their much anticipated re-union show on Feburary 15th (Friday) at the Arthouse with The Nation Blue and Farleftlimit
Mid Youth Crisis in their day (1994-1999) played with bands such as 180 Dischord, Caustic SOda, Crettins Puddle, Bodyjar, No FUn At All, The Sex Pistols and Millencolin. They were very popular among the all ages circit and put out a few releases through their own label called "Lifetime" records. . Also the rhythn guitarist from Blueline Medic (Adrian Lombardi) used to play with MYC, as well as Beltsy from Mindsnare (who plays and appears with a plethora of other bands. . )
15th Feb 2002 shall be a night to remember at the Arthouse. . . hopefully i'll see some of you there. .

it should be good news for everyone. . not just be, but anyone who wants to get into an old melbourne favourite punk band, and also see them for their first and last time after 2 and a bit years of being defunct. . .

It also turns out there are gona be two MYC shows at the Arthouse .. one with nation blue and the other with some New Zealand and Sydney bands . ..go to the nation blue one. . thats the one im going to . . . .
yeah. . thats pretty fucking cool . . .

The weather here has been worse!! Not too bad at the moment. Nice day then a thunderstorm. Bloody hot then pissing down rain. Dull day, hot night... what else could you want??  |

I cant believe none of you went. . .it was sooooo good .. better than good. . it was 5 star entertainment. .
Ok, i went to the friday show and it was packed. .they turned down soo many people for turning up late. . .
The first band up farleftlimit, .. well. . they were pretty average for a hardcore/punk/thrash band. . .all there songs were about 1 minute and a harlf. .
Next up the Nation Blue - These guys are definetly melbournes best kept secret. . they are so good. . .if you havent seen them you are denying life itself. .
MYC. . well . .what can i say .. this was one the best gigs i have ever seen . .people had there doubts about them, but they were all wronged. . MYC played like never before. . . the set was about an hour and a half and it was packed so tightly. . being up the front was a bit of a worry. .but it was all good. . .plus adrian (guitars, BLM member) gave me a pick and a drink bottle!!. . opretty cool.
plus they were selling records and other cool stuff. . .
you are all such losers for not going. . . .ha!
